You have probably arrived here after clicking a link somewhere near to a "Boombox" (to see the one on this page click here) on any of the other pages on any of the 5 sites.  Your welcome anyway. Go to the next screen down for more information on "Boomboxes" and "players"

You are probably aware that on most of the pages where there is music, there is a reference to something called a "player" What this player is in fact is a piece of software you download from various sites, usually for free, and it's exactly as it's name implies a player for you to control the music with PLAY, STOP, PAUSE, and other controls on it.
The link at the end of this paragraph will take you over to Microsofts pages where you can download their free player "Microsoft Media Player 7", I have this player on my computer and it opens up the world of video, MP3 audio, radio stations, and a lot more besides. Another similar player is available from an organisation called "Real Player", their link follows the Microsoft one but please read the rest of this page before you click away to anywhere.
Microsoft
Real Player
What you won't know is that when I play 99% of the  music that is on this site through the player I have on my own computer at home, I can see the words to the music in typical karaoke style, that is the word that is to be sung is highlighted by being a different colour, I can also change the key either up or down, and do lots more besides.
The player for this is from neither Microsoft or Real Player, rather it is from an organisation called
"van Basco's"
(that name is the link that will take you to van Basco's page's where you can download the player)
I rate it highly and I have lots of fun playing Karaoke on my own computer. Why don't you get one?, just click on the highlighted words "van Basco's" above, but read on first.
Obviously you need karaoke tracks to load into the player, they are also downloadable from loads and loads of sites.
The absolutley good news is that both the Karaoke player and the tracks for it are readily available and are FREE.

The following screen has a list of sites that will let you download Karaoke tracks to your computer, the karaoke track is actually a music file called a .kar file, the title of which will probably look something like this,
my_heart_will_go_on.kar or myheart.kar

The sites listed on the next screen below are all "working" links, however no matter which of the links on this page you click on this page should always remain on your screen at the bottom of the pile and so you can easily come back here to go onto any of the other sites if you so wish.
(I suggest you click on all of them in turn, when you get to them put each one into your favorites folder so's that you can easily find them once you have downloaded the player, which is what you need to do first)

You should be able to hear "Papa Don't Preach" playing in the background, the control for that piece of music is in the "Boombox" just below here. If you can't here it even with your computers speakers you probably need a player to enable you to, have another look on this page HERE for more information on how to get one.
